Eostre Traditions
We have a new Easter (or Eostre if you prefer) tradition in the McLaren household. Since we’re mostly areligious (i.e. I’m a die hard athiest and Trish is agnostic) the traditions have nothing to do with chocolate jesus or egg-laying bunnies or anything.
Our new tradition for this weekend is Sunday Brunch with the traditional Easter French Toast accompanied by the traditional Easter Mimosas and Bellinis.
If you click through to the larger photo it is obviously that the red floaty bits are individually frozen raspberries.
(The bubbly component here is that Cava I mentioned before, which makes a great Mimosa!)

You know, I had a Mimosa in New Orleans with breakfast one day, and it seems just a wast of perfectly good sparkling wine. I mean, why would you want to mix in the healthy stuff? That’s not right at all.
