Baby Tour: Weather in Ontario

So, two days ago it was -30 Celsius. Today there is a storm of doom. Later this week, when we’re supposed to be at Mom’s they are calling for almost -40. Meanwhile, at home in Halifax it’s 11C. Madness.

This is what we saw this morning outside our hotel room:

Our car, completely covered

Are you trying to head up to North Bay today, or are you sticking around W’loo in hopes the weather gets better?

Lets see here… Chris lives in Halifax… Halifax is hit by a hurricane a few months back, and then a massive power outage.
Then Chris comes to Ontario for Christmas… Ontario is hit by massive snowfall and unbelievably cold temperatures…
    Coincidence? I think not.

Alex, we stayed in Waterloo until 6:00, instead of leaving at noon as planned, to avoid the worst part of the storm. it took a lot longer than normal to get to North Bay and I have a funny story about that which I will tell you (or maybe put here) later.

Biff, I am not to blame! Although I have to add that there was also a power outage in Peterborough while I was there.
