Lion My Ass

Look, I’ve said it before and I’ll probably say it again: ancient temples that were hidden by “natural disasters” should be left well enough alone.

However, the modern rational institutions seem to be unable to learn the lessons that Lovecraft tried so hard to teach, and exploration of the undersea temples and city that were recently uncovered by the tsunami continue.

India finds more ‘tsunami gifts’

Lion my assThey could be part of the mythical city of Mahabalipuram, which legend says was so beautiful that the gods sent a flood that engulfed six of its seven temples.

Other discoveries made at Mahabalipuram earlier this month include a granite lion of a similar age to the temple that experts believe had been buried for centuries before the tsunami shifted the sand.

If that’s a lion, I’m a central African distance runner. My best guess is that it’s meant to be Dagon. Don’t open that door.
