I am an information junkie

I just read through the 600+ posts that my RSS Reader had stored up for me in the “High Interest” category while I was working too hard over the last several weeks. I had occasionally popped into the reader and read some of what might be called the informal “Very High Interest” subset (I really should formalize that), but still got over 600 entries behind over the couple of weeks I was too busy to look at what was going on. None of those feeds are news–mostly it’s friends, and book stuff.

It’s nice to be caught up on those. Now I’ve just got the other 19,000 new items on my various feeds that aren’t in the “High Interest” list.

I’m not sure how I’m supposed to take a vacation.

Unless I set up Google Reader with the important feeds… then I could check those while I traveled… You know, when Trish wasn’t looking. Man, I am a junkie.

I wonder how my life would be different if I spent the same amount of time I spend “gathering data” on “searching for wisdom”.
