(Some of the ones in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fletch_%28novel%29\">Fletch<\/a> were pretty good, too, but they don&#8217;t count.)<\/p>\n<p>Apparently there was a story about <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gloria_Vanderbilt\">Gloria Vanderbilt<\/a> being moved while she was quite ill, which ran under the headline &#8220;Sick Gloria in Transit: Monday&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Man, I would have been smiling at that for a week if I had seen that headline. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"excerpt\">While looking at the Wikipedia entry for one of my favourite Latin phrases, sic transit gloria mundi, I found a link to a New York Daily News story mentioning what has to be the all-time greatest headline pun that actually ever saw print.
