<\/p>\nI hesitate to jinx it, but it looks like the travel home today should be pretty smooth. <\/p>\n
Last night they were calling for a few inches of snow, which has thusfar failed to materialize. That had the potential to make my I-90 trip to Logan a tremendous pain, and if it were bad enough, to cause delays in my already-late-enough flight.<\/p>\n

One other piece of good news is that my flight is fairly empty–I just checked on seat assignment, which produced the chart above. The gray “T” seats are full, and the green “A” seats are available. That lone gray seat in the back at 12C is me, and unless there’s a sudden flood of people needing to get from Boston to Halifax tonight, it looks like I should have lots of room to stretch out.<\/p>\n
Of course, now that I’ve said all of this, the snow will come and they’ll cancel a bunch of earlier flights to Halifax, and suddenly the plane will fill up and end up taking off late.<\/p>\n
