I&#8217;m also quite the fan of <a href=\"http:\/\/greenmanpress.com\/\">Charles Vess<\/a> (indeed, I have <a href=\"\/blog\/archives\/2006\/05\/24\/hanging-around-the-house-6-sitting-room\/\">one of his early pieces<\/a> hanging in the sitting room).<\/p>\n<p>So, when I see today on Charles&#8217; blog a <a href=\"http:\/\/greenmanpress.com\/news\/archives\/98\">post with a bunch of photos<\/a> documenting how he went from a sketch to a finished three-dimensional sculpture, I&#8217;m a happy guy. This sculpture is related to <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stardust_(book)\">Stardust<\/a>, which has both <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.ca\/Stardust-Neil-Gaiman\/dp\/1401211909\">a new edition<\/a> coming out, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stardustmovie.com\/\">a movie<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"excerpt\">I love when artists open up about their process and show you various steps along the way to a finished product.
