(Note for non-Canadians: today is the observed holiday of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Canada_day\">Canada Day<\/a>, July 1, and is thus a non-work day for me&#8211;hence I had an excuse to stay up last night fiddling with wireless card firmware, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>While 11:15 would have been &#8220;early&#8221; for getting up on a holiday in my previous incarnations, in my life as a father this represents a ridiculously luxurious &#8220;sleep-in&#8221;.
