The keen-eyed among you (who aren’t reading this in RSS) may have noticed a few tweaks in the blog presentation. I’ve added numbering to the comments, and I’ve written a tiny plugin and made some changes to support distinguishing my comments from the ones the rest of you make. (With the amount of comments I get here this is completely unrequired, but I had to do it to test the solution since I was really putting it together for someone else, for use on a site where there are LOTS and LOTS of comments on each post.). CSS gets more fun, the more I play with it.<\/p>\n
Also, the particularly keen-eyed may have noticed that “What I’m Listening To” link under the Pages heading on the sidebar. This will take you to a page that displays some information on my listening habits. I’ve noticed that the render time on that page is wildly variable depending on how responsive the supplier’s servers are at the moment. This information is dynamically supplied by Last.fm<\/a> (formerly Audioscrobbler<\/a>). I have a plugin in my MP3 player<\/a> on my main computer that sends them information on what I’m listening to. Actually it sends a highly filtered version of what I’m listening to, but that’s because I am completely paranoid. Anyway, once they have the information I (and others) can then see the it and do fun stuff with it–sticking the information into a page here is the tip of the iceberg.
