Don&#8217;t ask.<\/footnote> today I happened to hear <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/soundslikecanada\/\">Shelagh<\/a> interviewing <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Leonard_Cohen\">Leonard Cohen<\/a>, mostly about his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/redirect?tag=homosum-20%26link_code=xm2%26camp=2025%26creative=165953%26path=http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/redirect.html%253fASIN=006112558X%2526tag=homosum-20%2526lcode=xm2%2526cID=2025%2526ccmID=165953%2526location=\/o\/ASIN\/006112558X%25253FSubscriptionId=1D7RNC9A4DZJNRAARVG2\" title=\"Book of Longing\">new book<\/a>. (You can actually hear the interview if you can deal with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/soundslikecanada\/media\/20060515cohen.ram\">Real streams<\/a>. It&#8217;s worth it just to hear Lenny read &#8220;Titles&#8221; from the new book. The stream runs to seventeen and a half minutes.)<\/p>\n<p>Since I&#8217;ve been home I&#8217;ve been listening to Lenny tracks. Damn that man can write.<\/p>\n<p>It occurs to me that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/podcasting\/\">the CBC does all kinds of podcasting now<\/a>. (<a href=\"http:\/\/todmaffin.com\/blogs\/radio\/2006\/05\/03\/cbc-radio-answers-public-demand-for-podcast-content\/\">Tod Maffin pointed this out<\/a> a while back&#8211;and he&#8217;s probably one of the big reasons this happened. I have several of the feeds in my &#8220;podcatcher&#8221;.) <\/p>\n<p>Looking at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/podcasting\/includes\/slc.xml\">the feed<\/a> for the digital extras for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/soundslikecanada\/\">Sounds Like Canada<\/a>, I see that there is an item described as:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A behind the scenes listen to an interview Shelagh Rogers had with Leonard Cohen on the occasion of five of his songs being inducted in to the Canadian Songwriter&#8217;s Hall of Fame in February.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This is actually from an interview from a few months back.
