Maybe you want it because you want watch it again later and don&#8217;t want to lose the URL. Maybe you want to convert it to some other video format for another use. Maybe you want to get a copy before the lawyers shut it down. Maybe you just want a local copy that will run really fast.<\/p>\n<p>Well, if the video is on any of the sites listed below there is a very easy solution, just pop over to <a href=\"http:\/\/keepvid.com\/\">KeepVid.com<\/a>. I&#8217;ve just used this to pull down local copies of that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chrismclaren.com\/blog\/2006\/03\/10\/spend-nine-minutes-with-alan-moore\/\">Alan Moore interview<\/a> I ran on the weekend, as well as another dozen or so things I&#8217;ve had bookmarked.
