I just replaced some light bulb in my office–I have no windows in here, so I try to keep the place extremely well-lit, especially in the winter. For the last couple of years I’ve had four of the 100W-equivalent compact fluourescent bulbs, which are both more energy efficient and a whiter light. However, I’ve noticed over time that the light output of the bulbs has dropped off, or at least that the light colour has shifted towards yellow. So last night I got a couple of 150W-equivalent bulbs (I think they really draw 37W or something) and replaced two of the bulbs immediately over my desk with them. The change is dramatic. (Also, I really need to dust in here.)<\/p>\n
I figure I should be able to resume posting now, though.<\/p>\n
