There may be a short break in service over the next week as I am about to enter a period of intense time commitment at work–I’m preparing materials to teach a whole team of new developers about our product, which has a pretty huge history and codebase, and then I’m teaching them.<\/p>\n
I really hate when I have to do formal instruction–I much prefer the “one-on-one” mentoring thing, if I have to be teaching.<\/p>\n
I really, really<\/strong> hate preparing materials for teaching; I’m a software architect–isn’t this what we have instructors and technical writers for?
