\nMiming the trees, whose voices climb and fall,
\nImploring, in Sabbatic ecstacy,
\nThe sky where vapor-mounted phantoms flee
\nFrom the scythed moon impendent over all.<\/p>\n

Twin veils of covering cloud and silence, thrown
\nAcross the movement and the sound of things,
\nMake blank the night, till in the broken west
\nThe moon’s ensanguined blade awhile is shown….
\nThe night grows whole again….The shadows rest,
\nGathered beneath a greater shadow’s wings.<\/p>\n
