I&#8217;m not sure to what extent that&#8217;s down to <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Haruki_Murakami\">Murakami<\/a>, and to what extent to <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alfred_Birnbaum\">Birnbaum<\/a>, though. I suspect that I am on the brink of disappearing into at least eight Murakami novels and not coming up for air until I&#8217;ve devoured them all.<\/p>\n<p>I can not yet explain why I am so captivated&#8211;the first portion didn&#8217;t capture me, but as soon as our narrator meets up with the Girl With The Ears, I was totally caught.<\/p>\n<p>Any of you guys read Murakami?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"excerpt\">I am completely ensorcelled by A Wild Sheep Chase.
