{"id":1030,"date":"2007-11-12T23:54:30","date_gmt":"2007-11-13T03:54:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chrismclaren.com\/blog\/2007\/11\/12\/halifax-harbour\/"},"modified":"2007-11-13T00:17:06","modified_gmt":"2007-11-13T04:17:06","slug":"halifax-harbour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.chrismclaren.com\/blog\/2007\/11\/12\/halifax-harbour\/","title":{"rendered":"Halifax Harbour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve been messing around with some software to do <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Photo_stitching\">image stitching<\/a>, for the purposes of creating panoramic images from a series of simple digital snaps.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been meaning to do this for a while, but tonight was the first time I&#8217;ve had a moment in several weeks. <\/p>\n<p>So, here&#8217;s my first test image: a view of the south east end of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Halifax_Harbour\">Halifax Harbour<\/a>. This is the view from the bluff at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pc.gc.ca\/lhn-nhs\/ns\/york\/index_e.asp\">York Redoubt<\/a>, looking out over <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/McNabs_Island\">Mcnabs Island<\/a>.
