My server has a spam filter (SpamAssassin, IIRC), which does a good job in cutting down what makes it to the client, and the built-in junk filter to Thunderbird. My Junk folder has 23 mails in it for February, only one or two of which I had to flag to be put in there. I've only had a handful of false-positives my entire time running it.

What's your client-side spam solution?

Thunderbird is what I've been using for a long time now, and it does most of these things. Some stuff (it'll do rules, but I don't think sounds is one of the actions) you may need to explore if addons will get you where you want.
