My spam analysis system uses a lot more to make it's decisions than Akismet, which is why your posts were approved anyway, even thought the Akismet server thinks you are a spammer.

Looking at the logs, Akismet actually did call you a spammer on both of these comments, was overruled by my system on the basis of other things, and the system then called back Akismet and said "No, this is not a spam".

I wonder what you did to get Akismet pissed at you.

By the way, I get a "Akismet said it's spam" error message when I try to comment, even though my comment does get posted.

I really didn't vote for Democrats back in November so they could play a long game. We have a president whose administration does something stupid and eggregious practically every day. Sixteen months of that with the left just playing "wait and see" is a really dangerous scenario.

I understand we're not going to get a lot of support this late in the game for impeachment -- not of anyone in the administration, much less Bush himself. That's unfortunate, because the man and his cronies have definitely committed impeachable acts, but it's the reality. But that doesn't mean we sit around, twiddle our thumbs, and hope everything's right as rain when he's finally out of office.

Epsecially since a lot of the folks gunning to replace him are not a whole lot better -- or, if not exactly as bad, will likely be unable or unwilling to undo a lot of the damage being done right now.
