you can have your car taken away here in Ontario also. Any speeding over 50km(30mph) of the speed limit and the police can take your car and your licence. Its a little unfair if you ask me that the poilice can act as judge and jury.

I just got a speeding ticket (19 over) in Maine last week. I live in Ontario. Does anyone know if this ticket will affect my insurance, demerit points, etc. Since Maine doesn't share info with other jurisdictions, what will happen if I don't pay it?

Thanks

Speeding Tickets is getting expensive out here in NY. Also with the new law for DWI...out here in NY you can get your car taken away from you. My friend was caught speeding numerous amount of time, but after buying this he was able to save himself from getting caught. He bought this 5 years ago and didn't get caught ever since! Here is the site... I hope it helps! http://www.productsupplycenter.com/web15090

A kind of spammy comment tonight has drawn my attention to the fact that the Maine FAQ now says that they do inform the home state. Another reason to slow down next I'm driving to Boston, I guess.

great recap of your ticket experience! it's fun to hear about other people's situtation and know you are not the only fool to get caught. if you wrote another blog about excuses to use, that'll be awesome
