Sounds like Trish is possibly interested, and Sarah is probably not tied down to anything yet. Your friends will still be here when you get back. Why not rent a storage unit, pack away your books and other valuables, then rent out, sell or have someone check on the house periodically and just go? I know, it is much easier to write than to actually do... I would love to go to Australia for an extended period.
