• The best news story in the world: Camel crashes party, drinks Guinness.
• I like a Swiss Army knife as much as the next guy (although I greatly prefer my Leatherman), but this is a bit ridiculous.
• I give money to ORC. You should too (at least the Canadians amongst you should.)
• I know what an aglet is. I know what a ferrule is. I know what a hemidemisemiquaver is, and what an octothorpe is. The other 29 words on the list were new to me. Most interesting is orbdormition. Most likely to actually be useful is keeper.
• White Jesus always cracked me up–I mean what is a white guy doing running around Jerusalem 2000 years ago? Parke Godwin did the best riff on this in Waiting For The Galactic Bus. MSNBC is doing a little (apparently holiday themed) article, How White Was My Savior?, on the history of Jesus representations, and how he ended up looking like a white dude.
• Robert Anton Wilson seems to be blogging, despite being “Paralyzed, bed-ridden, high in oath.”
• DJ Riko brings the Christmas mixes again. This will be the soundtrack for next week’s poker game, I think.
