Call me old-fashioned, but no, I really don't. Carboni's "Sometimes, it tastes real good" above is pretty faint praise. I can get past the whole disgust factor -- probably not far enough past to ever taste the cheese, but there's plenty of food I find disgusting that I'm willing to accept tastes good to some people. But I don't see the appeal of a disgusting, quite possibly unhealthy cheese that also tastes lousy.

And then there's that whole bizarre "they're microbes, not maggots" theory...

I don't see how this cheese is any different than a poorly-crafted donair. Wait ... I mean different from a well-prepared donair. Mmmm, wriggly.

What, you don't think "a viscous, pungent goo that burns the tongue and can affect other parts of the body" sounds appealing?

I seem to remember hearing about this before. I like good cheese myself, but I think this is too far for me as well. Especially since the indications are that it doesn't taste very good.
