What I’m doing this weekend: On Tour
I’m taking Thursday and Friday off work this week, so that I can spend three days following consummate musician Danny Michel on his mini-tour of the Maritimes.
Partly I am doing this to prove to myself that I am not that old, but mostly it’s because I really miss being able to see Danny live on a regular basis.
So, it’s Thursday in Rothesay at Sessions Cafe, Friday in Fredericton at The Capital, and then back home Saturday night for a show at Ginger’s. I’m hoping I can get a good portion of the Halifax kids out for that show–although Danny will certainly pack Ginger’s on his own.

Hope you enjoy your mini tour… I’ve done the same in March in UK, following the whole tour with Danny, Lindy and Bob Kemmis, and it’s been a great experience…
If you ever talk to Danny, say hi to him for me please
