So that's five to start, before any staff or other people living there. We'd have to move in a lot more to get the square-foot/person ratio down to something sensible on a 10,000 sq foot house though. Of course, if I'm assuming I can afford a $3m house, I can probably safely assume that I can afford some permanent staff. And maybe I can fund an artist's retreat on a six-month basis in one wing or something... I'm a pretty good rationalizer, when I need to be.
