As for the $10K: I'm one or two degrees of separation away from people who would kill someone on the street for $100. Seriously. And I live in Happy Little Halifax. For $10K, who knows what you could get. I mean, I'm not interested, but I bet there are a lot of people who would see that as a real lot of money. But more startling is that al-Qaeda offered only $10000 for anyone who would attempt a terrorist strikin in Australia. That's not a heck of a lot of money for such a big endeavour.
