Re: Gambling on Baseball - it's not just a big no-no - it's close to the biggest no-no since the Blacksox scandal - see the treatment of Pete Rose as the model for this storyline. (Proof of gambling on baseball warrants an automatic banning from baseball for life)

What I want to know is:Who was the rat a message to?

I think Cordelia didn't sleep with Duncan - rather she sold him some drugs, which I think is part of the source of his ongoing blanditude (other than his terrible acting)

I think it's pretty strongly implied that Terrence Cooke gambled on baseball, which as I understand it is a big no-no for baseball players in that it can bring up allegations of game-fixing. He may end up in trouble with whatever authorities regulate baseball, and possibly losing his job.

Are we certain that Curly Moran sabotaged the bus? That only seems to work if we actually think the crash was Aaron Echolls' doing, and I really doubt that.

Oh, and what about the call that came from inside the house? Someone called Weevil to tell him that Felix was killed by the Fighting Fitzpatricks (which, right now, seems to make a great deal of sense). Veronica discovered that the call was made from Logan's house on a night in which a party was held there. The 09ers, the PCHers, and Lamb all showed up at the party, but the number from which the call was placed wasn't familiar to Veronica.

Does the huge murder conspiracy mentioned involve the bus crash? Because Veronica didn't bust the real estate fraud until after the bus crash. So is someone now saying two different groups are trying to murder her?

It's a joke--the six Flannigan children do battle.

And Jackie is played by Tessa Thompson, Q.E.D.

Two things -- Isn't it the Fighting Fitzpatricks? (Or is the Flannigans thing an Irish joke I'm missing?) (Oh wait, and is Tessa, Jackie?)

And on the Veronica tip, I think it's also been implied that she could have been the target of retaliation by the Fitzpatricks against her dad (best dad ever!), but that could just be too unlikely to not deserve a spot on the list.
