You got some ’splaining to do…
Some of my friends in Kentucky (you know who you are) are going to have to submit to a lot of good natured teasing about the latest cultural center to be founded there. (I will save the raw hatred for the people actually doing the founding, of course.)
(This is not to say there aren’t some embarrasing museums in Nova Scotia, by the way.)

Ahem. Unfortunately for the internets (which like to think they find everything early) this has been there for years, and so, the discussion of many potential road trips never quite made.
Let me tell you, though, the one that really intrigues in Northern Ky. is the Ventriloquist Museum. Yessir, you heard me: they have their annual convention at the Drawbridge Inn every year. Woohoo!

I would totally check out a Ventriloquit Musuem were I ever passing near one.
I wonder if Will knows about that–it’s right up his Oddball America alley.

I don’t know. I’ve always kind of wanted to go hit some of the bars around the hotel where they have their annual convention. I haven’t, because I fear it would be disappointing and not at all like my image of creepy guys with dummies hitting on local honeys. A girl has to have her illusions.

I don’t know about the dummies in the bars–although, how scary would that be to the kid who had dropped a tab or two, and then unknowingly walked into the bar during the convention??–but I love the image of all these guys sitting at tabled having conversations, except they are all throwing their voices, so that despite appearances the conversations aren’t between the people sitting at the same table, but between people at different tables.
